Re: [Simply Computers] How to add text to a copy of a letter that has been scaned to my PC ?

I think, as someone mentioned, you'll need OCR software and set it to
export to Word or some other word processor.

Re: [Simply Computers] WiFI Broadband

See the info toward the bottom:http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/mobilebroadband/?page=plans
Mine isn't there, but I presume I can still use it as 3G.

So when you get it from Verizon can you get the cards to get more minutes when ever you need it? I know you can do for the Virgin Broadband. You just get cards to pay for more time and go online to do it that way. Or do you have to go to Verizon to pay for it? I don't really want to do it that way because I never know when I'll use it and don't want to go to Verizon just to pay for something that I might need. I also don't have a cell phone and don't have an account for Verizon. Would rather have the card you buy and use it if I need it.

Funny I bought a used Verizon MIFI because they have an option to pay as you go and it's compatible with Linux, but I don't have the extra cash with a vet bill for my pet at the moment. Hope I can score some new customers to help pay the CareCredit bill I have now.

I need the same thing, but kind of like a MiFi where you can use up to five electronic devices. I want to get a Tablet and need to use WiFi anywhere like I can with the USB Broadband, but since Tablets don't have USB ports I can't use the USB Broadband on the laptop. I don't want a MiFi that you have to use from say Verizon, or anywhere else because I know I would only use it when I needed it and since we have WiFi from our cable provider I don't need it when I'm home just when I'm somewhere else.

[Simply Computers] Re: Imaging/Backup Software

I have that version. I would use the file backup option off the home screen. This provides maximum flexibility for choosing the exact files you want selected or de-selected. In my own case I image the c drive, on which as Walt suggested, My Docs has been moved. But I do backup my Outlook personal folders file and even have it as a scheduled backup performed each day.
