thanks guys:) yes, i'm using "classic" now, & it is better than the new style,but stiil gets crappy.
I liked the Ad-block add-on on FF 3 point 'something'. After I updated to FF 4 I found Ad-Block was a drag too, so I disabled it, along with a bunch of other add-on. Big improvment.
Perhaps I should go back to FF3.
