[Simply Computers] Hewlett Packard Cartriges

 

Hi again Gurus ;-)
I have a hewlett packard all in one C4700 printer. I am running Windows XP Pro Media Center. This HP printer program will NOT allow me to use remanufactured or refilled ink cartriges. I have installed the disk that came with the printer when I bought it new but if I use any less expensive cartrige than a brand new HP, it locks the printer by telling me I need a HP ink cartrige and it will not print. Do you folks know how I can override/defeat this propriatary system?
