I have an older HP Laser (1100) that just won't die and I bought my wife a
Canon printer that costs more to replace cartridges than I paid for it. Both
printers print exceedingly well though. Still in all, when I consider
hand-filling a replacement cartridge I think buying them new is the better
alternative for me. I can't imagine what you save when you factor in the
complexity.
