Yes, but many laptop manufacturers don't make XP drivers for their newer laptops.
You should check the manufacturers website in the Support section, to see if XP is supported for your computer.
If there is not a XP video driver available, you may find yourself stuck with the standard 640x480 resolution.
You can see what this will look like by temporarily setting your Windows 7 display resolution to 640x480, and see if you like it. I have a feeling you will not.
