Hi

DirecTV is, of course, a satellite transmission to your house. You should contact them about the problem. They may need to come out and adjust your dish, or perhaps replace something.

They may actually take the cheaper route and just send you a new (probably "refurbished") converter box, and have you swap it for your old one.
