Dear Vincent,
I have s/w which can be run in MSDOS Os only. All systems are running in winxp. I am having one HDD having dos os on it. The s/w is running well If I boot thru hdd with dos os. I want to run the s/w thru CD only which contains this s/w and related data without changing hdd having winxp os. To get bootable cd , I had boot thru HDD with dos os and also run device driver vide-cdd.sys and mscdex to datect cd drive in dos os. Now CD drive is detected and it shows contents on it thru command DIR E:\ .To make bootable cd I had tried to format blank cd with command format e:/u/s.It show msg. Cannot format network drive.
In short I want to boot system thru DOS bootable cd though the system hdd is having win xp os.
Pl help.
Thanks, chandu. Pl. tell me what should I do to

It's not clear to me what you're trying to do.
If you could tell us some of what you've done and what you want to achieve
perhaps we can help.

Subject: [Simply Computers] Bootable Cd
Hi,
I had tried to make MSDos cd from Hdd having DOS os. It says Can't format
Network drive.
Is there any other way to do the same?. I want to run some dos based
software from cd only.
Thanks,chandu.
