It does sound weird. I would try the Photoshop user forums. A workaround
would be to save to the drives it sees and move files later when you have
sufficient space tied up and you need to off-load some files.

Subject: [Simply Computers] unable to save photoshop file to a large
harddrive
This is a bit weird. I have a C: drive which is about 500 gigs. And I have a
G: drive which is 1.5 terabyte. The weird thing is, whenever I try to save
any photoshop file to the G drive, photoshop tells me that the disk is full.
Photoshop has no problems saving to my other two harddrives. Only this
gigantic drive, the G drive.
That is impossible because the G drive isn't even 1/5th full. Other programs
such as wordperfect and after effects are able to save files to the G: drive
just fine.
I suspect somehow that my older version of photoshop (7) may not be properly
recognizing/addressing the memory of the G: drive. Any suggestions to
overcome this problem?
thx
