We have a pc and will soon also have a laptop in our home. We do not want
to network the two computers. Will Cloud Print be a good way to send docs
from the laptop downstairs to the printer upstairs? I suppose we'd still
have to make the printer, what Google calls a "classic printer," the default
printer for the laptop even though it would not be able to print directly to
it.
Are there security issues with using a service like Cloud Print?
A related problem.....I can't seem to enable Cloud Print in order to print a
test page. I sign in to my Google account (no errors; can see my
personalized news page, for example). I click the wrench icon:Options:Under
the Hood:Enable Cloud Print, and then another sign-in page opens, I re-enter
my login info (seems like it should recognize I'm already signed in), and
that page tells me the login email or password are invalid. Went through
the process of having Google send me email and following the link to reset
my password, but I still can't sign in to Google Cloud Print.
Thanks, SB
