[Simply Computers] Help

 

I have a Windows Vista  Compaq Computer.  I know how to follow instructions but I do ask questions if I don't under stand something.  I hope I have sent you enough information to help me.
 
I have a Paint Shop Pro 9 installed and I do alot of work with the program.  A couple of months ago I had my computer cleaned out. 
 
When I download a tube, I have it sent to my desktop.  I was able to see the picture or tube right away on my desktop.  Now all I see is my Paint Shop Pro Icon.  No picture visible.  If I had a picture of one of my family members put on my desktop, I could see who it is, now all I see is a blank page.  I would like to have that back.  I am sending a screen shot of what it looks like now.
 
#1 Screen shot--is a tube I would use in Paint Shop Pro.  I should be able to see pink roses, but as you can see, all I see is a palette.
 
#2 Screen shot--is a picture of my granddaughter's Yorkie puppy.  As you see, all I can see is a palette.
 
I used to be able to see the roses tube and the Yorkie picture.
 
I need to be able to see it.
 
When I put in a cd with tubes and pictures,  all I see is the palette's.
