[Simply Computers] Pandigital eNovel repair

 

I bought a Pandigital eNovel reader for Christmas in 2010 and of course I
threw away the receipt.

Now it is dead. When I slide the button to on, the screen stays dark when
the charger is disconnected.
When I slide the button to on, the screen stays dark when the charger is
connected.
When I slide the button to on, the screen stays dark even when connected to
my laptop with a usb connection.

I always thought that if a unit did not work even with the charger connected
that I could not blame the battery but I am not sure this is correct.
Has anybody out there ever fixed an eNovel reader?

If so, how did you do it?
