We have positions for Manager- Financial Planning and Analysis for Fortune Listed US MNC in OEM Domain having their large and established ODC and IT division in Pune, India

About client: Our Client is a 100 year old diversified with current sales of $14 billion. It is a global leader in electrical components and systems for power quality, distribution and control; hydraulics components.

Role: Manager- Financial Planning and Analysis

Experience: 7 - 10 Yrs

Basic Qualification:
• Accounting Degree (MBA/CFA/CA/ICWA)
• 7-10 years of financial management experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, and local India accounting and tax practices
• Conversant in all finance disciplines including accounting, tax matters
• Excellent analytical, written and oral English communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across boundaries/business lines.
• Building Organizational capability with strong work ethics and high motivational levels

Primary Functions:
• This position supports the Vice President IT to help maintain financial oversight of the Asia Pacific IT budgets. This position will work closely with the respective regional country controller organization to ensure compliance with all statutory and tax requirements in Asia Pacific (primary focus will be in India).
• This position will lead the accounting, monthly close process, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, internal controls, co-coordinating Internal and External audit for all ledger and activity centers for IT in Asia Pacific.
• This position will be responsible to drive multiple IT cost-out projects.
• This position will also be responsible for any special projects undertaken by and Corporate Finance team as applicable.

Essential Functions:
• Responsible for the APAC-IT accounting, monthly close process, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, adherence to financial processes, maintaining internal controls, preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management presentations, monthly tax compliance for the Expatriate tax payment and Statutory payments, Intercompany reconciliation and Intercompany payments, review and approval of monthly vendor invoices
• Coordinating the booking and payment of invoices with the shared service center, coordinating the monthly close procedure for all IT ledgers, raising monthly export sez invoices for IT, allocation of monthly centralized IT expenses to other business units supported by IT through Intercompany debit notes
• Part of APAC IT leadership team– attending monthly leadership meeting and presenting the critical and important financial observations to the leadership team
• Work with various financial organizations across APAC for the IT cost allocation and chargeback.
• Work closely with the WHQ-IT finance team on the various monthly submissions as per the IT calendar.
• Work with HR and the IT team to develop common policies in line with other policies. Participate in development and implementation of such policies.
• Work closely with VP-IT to develop & maintian statutory compliance and other checklist of APAC-IT budget, put in place monthly review of statutory compliances and Balance scorecard, to provide input for implementation of effective control process with APAC-IT.
• To coordinate relevant indirect and direct tax matters with the India Tax manager with reference to the organization like SEZ compliance, Transfer pricing audits, etc and also provide timely update to leadership team
• To work on multiple cost-out projects for the IT organization in India, this also includes driving and tracking the monthly cost-out initiate by the IT and the finance team.
