Any email address book is part of that email program. If you are using
one of the "cloud" mail services, like Gmail, the only way to access
that information is by logging on to your account. That of course means
you have to enter your user name AND the password. The password is the
key. I am not a hacker so I don't know much about it, but if you are
using some simple password, like "password", or any of the other common
ones,

A hacker could easily crack into that. There are also programs which
will keep trying until they find it. You can read more about this at

In the last analysis, the best protection is to use a really really good
