I don't exactly know what is going on here with
all the explanations of this but somehow we're
not communicating very clearly with you.

YOU CANNOT SCAN INTO A WORD PROCESSING
APPLICATION LIKE WORD OR OPEN OFFICE AND BE ABLE TO MANIPULATE THE TEXT.

Scanning produces a PICTURE not a text document.
As has been explained several times before, you
CAN send the PICTURE into an OCR application
which then attempts to decipher the
dots-within-the-picture as recognizable
alpha-numeric characters and outputs an editable
text document. But these attempts are clumsy and often don't work well.

In my opinion, the two best answers you have
gotten to this fill-in-the-form problem is to
either 1) print the form 2) put the form back
into the printer then 3) then print, FROM A NEW
DOCUMENT, the data that should go onto the form - aligned to fit the spaces.

The better answer, provided by Ron David, is to
Insert the form AS A PICTURE (which it is, as
we've explained before) into a blank document
and, using a drawing tool (found in both Word and
Open Office and likely others), insert text boxes
in the appropriate fill-in-the-blank spaces, then type in your data and print.

Don't over think this; as Yoda says, "No try - DO"
