umn ok which is better ie 8 or 9 and what about opera or mozilla whats their track record and do they really speed things up; i ve used chrome and firefox and have never seen the pc run faster or get to a web site faster or surf faster etc maybe if i had a stopwatch and timed it ? Getting annoyed that everytime i turn around theirs another upgrade and
i can t ever see or measure that anything gets improved after the upgrade; or is it expecting to much to see a difference ? ? and when i open yahoo mail from instant messenger will that be with the upgrade ?

I would upgrade. If for no other reason than increased security. IE9 is not in beta having been released now for several months.
You can revert to IE7 although I don't know why you would put less secure software on your machine.
