[Simply Computers] got a Toshiba Satellite -L505 ...

won't boot up with battery on and power adapter on, i pushed power button and green battery light would go off then go back on then green power adapter would go off then go back on ..this goes in 2 to 3 secs interval...laptop wont boot up...Query ....if cooling fan is defective would laptop boot up? i think it got no problem with power area...could be motherboard prob but again this is a new and less than a year... can someone respond to this?
