This is the second time in the group's history that somebody has
attempted to create a copy of our group to help us. Both attempts were
complete failures. The reason why this group has a "2" at the end of it
is because some poor soul reserved SimplyComputers on the NEW Yahoo
Groups platform before our old group had been switched over to the new
platform. Yahoo saw the name collision and renamed OUR group even
though the other one with the same name was newer and had nearly no users.
This group has been around since June 1999. I have been in this group
since about that time, and I have read almost every single question and
answer since I joined. I don't plan on switching because of some
misguided attempt to fix a problem that won't be fixed by switching to
another group.
