Sure, A USB keyboard would work fine. Unless the stuck key interferes
with it.
Most laptop keyboards can be removed by taking out a few screws from the
bottom, or perhaps just removing the plastic piece between the top of
the keyboard and the hinges, which will usually reveal about 4 screws
along the top of the keyboard to free it. Then you can unclip the
ribbon cable to the motherboard and lift it right out.
If you want to post back here with the model number, I may be able to
tell you exactly how to remove it.
