Re: [Simply Computers] Re: Requesting fees for providing help

I would see it as a problem. This group is a free group, and it is against
the rule to use this as a venue to solicit clients for a private service.
We do not encourage off-list communication (promotional or not), and we will
ban any member who attempts to use this forum to promote a service outside
of this group. We have begrudgingly allowed for "tag lines" that promote a
service, but only only because we deemed it unobtrusive and public enough so
as to not mislead our members.

If a member comes to this group and specifically asks if anybody here knew
of a good for-pay repair service, other members would be free to promote
their own services as well.

Again, to clarify, any advertisement on this free message board by the
members is prohibited and will get you banned.
