a web cam is just a bit of hardware and needs a software driver to run it and a software program to view the photo, That said you must have some software for the cam to be able to tell us its upside down,
Look again at your program list to see what you may have. It will be an ATI or Asus program.
Then come back to me for further advice to download and install a new driver.
