Re: [Simply Computers] My PC dont boot up

Hi,

Give me few answers please,

do you have multiple operating system installed in your pc ?.
did you modify your boot.ini file ?
do you have more than one hardisk in your computer ?
what is your boot order in your bios settings?

if you dont have multiple operating system installed and if you dont have
multiple hardisk in your computer.
Try repairing windows xp using windows xp boot cd.
hal.dll is available in windows xp boot cd.
double check your boot.ini file for any modification.
if required, you can try mbrfix also.

Best Regards
Vijay,
