Here's a fun technique: If they ask to talk to your spouse/father/mother,
say, "Oh just a minute." Then loudly call out, "Honey/Dad/Mom, telephone!"
and just put the phone down. It's surprising how many of them wait.... and
wait. After a half minute, you pick up the phone again and say, "They'll be
right here, just hang on." Eventually, you'll hear that loud "If you'd like
to make a call...," and you can hang the phone up knowing you've annoyed the
telemarketer almost as much as they've annoyed you.

Here in Canada we have a NO CALL LIST and it is totally ignored and
uninforced it's more than a joke. Our Phone number on it since 2008..

Now a days I am using a new technique when a telemarketer calls I say HELLO
and HELLO... for more than 10 times. then he gets sick and tired of me and
hangs up. Stay cool.. let him run not you. Fred
