[Simply Computers] Re: Imaging/Backup Software

I have the My Documents folder on a D partition, not on the C partition. You might consider doing that if you don't want My Documents in an ATI C image/backup, but it looks like you've given up on ATI.

Although I have copies of newer ATI versions, I'm still using the ATI Home Version 10. It has an option to Backup "My Data".
The Description for that reads:
"When you select this option, you are able to choose specific data to backup. You can either manually select the files and folders or specify types of files (file extensions) you want to back up. For example, there are predefined categories (video files, pictures, music and so on) you can select for backing up. Otherwise, you can create your own file category based on file extensions. These files will be safely stored in backups, and in case of data loss or corruption, you will be able to easily restore them."

All that noted, everyone has their own preferences. Those that want ATI 2012 have until midnight today to get the discount.

Perhaps Paragon will suit your needs. Another option is EaseUS Todo Backup Free 3.5.
