[Simply Computers] Soundcard for 2.1 Speaker?

 

Currently i am using onboard

sound and I have Edifier M3300 2.1 speakers. I want to get a sound card for
better quality, but all the sound cards found are mentioned either 5.1 or
7.1, so I was wondering whether my 2.1 speaker will work with those. For
example, I looked up Creative Sound Blaster AUDIGY Value 7.1, will this work
with my 2.1 speakers? Any other sound card suggestions will be highly
appreciated.
