[The Computer Hardware Technician] Re: msword, excel problem

Within this thread <http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.msn.messenger/browse_thread/thread/a2991eb03897a04a/c3595e1fffa27d76?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=webcam+inverted+picture,+%22Windows%22#c3595e1fffa27d76> or <http://preview.tinyurl.com/5wbbnlo> this is stated: "...you might be able to get to it by clicking the Tools menu,
then Web Camera Settings and then choose the Advanced button."

One other option would be to use System Restore to revert the system to a time when it was working properly.

The camera worked fine some time ago and when I went to use it my image was
upside down. It is that way in everything I try to use it with not just
Facebook. I can't locate any software for it to change the settings, would I
just need to find some software to use it?

May God richly bless you,

If the camera is inverted, do you mean the camera is upside down? Then she
just turn it the rightway up. Hard to do in a laptop with the camera in the
screen frame. If you mean thje camera changes the image, maybe but in her
case its Facebook that does the inversion.

Â
If the camera is a inverted camera the windows generic driver will invert
the image. Lookup your specs and discover your camera Manfacture. Go to
there web page get correct driver and this will solve your issue.

And yes Ian it is a driver issue.

Also the last post was a joke I was just teasing her..

probable the moderators iomn this list. All the answers and drivers and
programs are no help. In Facebook if it want a photo for your profile it
give you two options, click to take a pic with your cam. This will give
you
an upsiode down image that you have to edit on Facebook or you can take
a
picture wioth you can program and save it to your computer file and on
Facebook hit the Browse button and upload the pic you saved.

On your computer you can edit it before uploading it.

I do hope this one gets onto the list.

Well they come with a software program in which you view the picture
If
your using a program like Skype, in these programs there is always a
setting
for the webcam. For instance in Skype its in the
Call Menu/Audio Settings. You should be able to turn the picture
there.

I have an ASUS laptop that has a built in camera, I'm running
Windows

When I first got it, it worked fine, now when I try to use it the
image is
upside down. Anyone have any idea how to fix this. Thank you for
any
help.
