Are you saying it will not boot "from" the "DVD" drive?
Are you saying the "DVD" drive is listed as the 1st boot device?
What bootable file are you using?

Subject: [Simply Computers] Intel D915GAV Won't Boot
I'm putting together a computer for a friend. For some reason it won't boot to a drive.
It is an Intel D915GAV motherboard. I have verified that the CPU and RAM are the right type.
I am able to get into the bios. It sees the drive, CPU and RAM. It also sees the DVD RAM when its plugged in.
With no drives it does not give the "No boot devices"
The drive is listed as the 1st boot device.
When I let it boot normally, there is a beep when it would normally load from the drive, then a blank screen.
Is there anything I can try? I thought RAID but there does not seem to be any settings.
