Hmmm ... could you elaborate?
The audio output normally goes to a tiny speaker, and the cable insert redirects to the external amp.
I understand the insert switch is a _mechanical_ "either-or", and the OS doesn't know the difference.
Or is there some sort of OS decision happening when the plug is inserted?
Scratching my head here ...
