[Simply Computers] Re: Firefox issues

 

Hi

I have read your post through a couple of times, but are not sure what you want us to do.

I see you are having trouble with Firefox. When that happens, we usually suggest that the person try to do the same steps with another browser, such as IE or Google's Chrome, and compare the results.

And please let us know what the results are.

From what you've posted, it's possible that your computer is infected with some malware, which is capturing the password that you registered with, and changing it, so that you cannot login to the account that you created, but someone else can.

That's a bit extreme, and you problem might be much simpler.

Please try your steps with another browser or two, and tell us what happens.

Also, tell us what antivirus you are using, and is it up to date?

Have you run Malwarebytes' Antimalware lately? If not, please do so.
