[Simply Computers] Re: How to remove folder.scr

 

Your message appears to have been delayed most likely by a glitch at Yahoo groups. I don't get the () reference...Does that mean you don't know what virus / malware has overtaken your machine?

Anyway, you might be looking at one or two courses of action. In the first instance, you might want to pull the drive and insert in another machine to run a virus scan and a malware scan since you state you can't get your a/v to run while the drive is in the machine.

Failing that, I would break out either an image you have for backup purposes for when your machine is incapacitated and restore it or break out the back up disks and dig in for a system rebuild.
