Vijay and All:
GOT IT!, Thanks.
There's no configuring I can access on the AASTRA IP phone itself (so no point really in checking those anyway...)
The fix was found by trial-and-error fiddling w/ the Linksys Router 'Application & Gaming' settings.
On the DMZ page i Enabled the IP address of the phone (which is different at home through the router than it is in the office).
On the QOS page I Enabled QOS, selected 'Manual' for Upstream bandwidth control w/ the highest possible number. Also on QOS page in 'Device Proirity' area entered SIP1 with the AASTRA phones MAC address and gave 'High' proirity, In Ethernet Port area gave again High proirity to the specific port that the phone is plugged into (w/ Flow control and imcoming rate limits both Disabled), and in Application Priority area entered v_sip1 and v_sip2 w/ specific ports 5060 and 5061 both w/ High proirity.
Phone works now inbound and outbound, and I can do everything else I want at the same time. NO chop, no packet-loss or drop outs.
