[Simply Computers] Re: Mail delivery problem

 

Hello,

Let's try this in Yahoo mail, first, as it should be the easiest to use.

After you go through the Attach files selection, and see you photo file listed in the File 1: box, you have to click Attach Files once more to actually attach the file to the message.

Here's the steps:

I assume you open Yahoo mail, and then click the NEW button to create a new message.

In the NEW email window, you enter the address of the person you want to send to, type a message, and (if wanting to send a photo or other file with the message), click on the "Attach Files" button.

the next window has five lines where you can add files ... each one has a "Browse" button.

You click on the first Browse button and this takes you to a selector where you can choose which file to send as an attachment.

You find the photo that you've saved, and click on it once, and its name automatically appears in the "file name" box ... then you click OPEN.

Now you are taken back to the Attach files window, and the name of your photo file is displayed next to File 1:

Now you go up to just below "Mail" and click on "Attach files".

Yahoo mail attaches the file to the message and you are taken back to the email creation page. You see your addressee, your message, and the photo file as an attachment.

Perhaps after you select the photo file and are back in the Attach Files window, you are not clicking the "Attach Files" button one last time to make Mail actually attach the file to the message?
