I downloaded and ran Malwarebytes' AntiMalware software. It found 1 infected item which I deleted.

However, after downloading, running, and rebooting my system, I still have the red Windows Security Alert icon in the lower right hand corner of my screen, and I still can't update my Webroot antivirus and Spy Sweeper software. What do I do now?

Can I use System Restore and set it to a date earlier in the summer? It seemed to be running fine then.

Thanks.
