Re: [Simply Computers] Brand new Netbook or Recertified laptop (Please help me to decide)

I have a Netbook and a 17" HP Laptop. I think it depends on the use for the computer. I travel with my Netbook (Win 7). Believe me you do not want to lug that 17" Laptop around even for day trips!

AS for the Netbook being slow I have taken advantage of the option that Vista and Win 7 give you to use a memory card to "boost" your memory on the netbook, it works OK. Yes, with limited memory I only run 1 maybe 2 programs at a time but I am not trying to edit a book in word or running complicated formulas in Excel. I just want to access the web, read my e-mail and maybe use Evernote to save some web pages. For that the Netbook works really well.

So What do you want to use the Netbook / Laptop for?
