We have an opening for Senior Software Engineer-ACM Returns (5+yrs) with leading provider of web-hosted sales and use tax management services in Pune.

Location: Pune (Shivajinagar)

Role: Senior Software Engineer-ACM Returns

Experience: 5+ Yrs

Technical Skills:
• Experience developing multi-tier production software
• Experience developing SaaS/SOA production software
• Experience developing in a Linux environment
• Proficient in C++, Java or another object oriented compiled language
• Proficient at programming in JavaScript, Ruby, Python or other interpreted language
• Experience with Apache and other open source software a plus
• Experience with AGILE and test-driven development processes
• Experience with REST service development strongly preferred
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English

Responsibilities:
• Implement features with robust, well-documented, test-driven, and maintainable code
• Use version control systems effectively, including an understanding of branching
• Seek and also perform code reviews
• Analyze existing code and designs to maintain and enhance existing software applications
• Debug applications, as needed, utilizing bug and enhancement tracking software and processes
• Manage time effectively. Estimate and track project effort
• Collaborate with development, QA, and Product Management team members to create best in class solutions
