Just running a cleaning operation from the software can help.
I some worked its unlikely you left the tags on.

This might sound too simple, but have you taken the blue cartidge out and
put it back in again? Possible the printer just isn't recognizing it. Also,
do you have to take a piece of tape off the cartridge before inserting?
Maybe you forgot to take the tape off?
