Microsoft is about engineers who write stuff understandable to them and
their peer group. With practice, you can begin to understand. Alternatively,
I try to look for other sources of more readily accessible information as
I'm not an engineer and need the information provided in simpler terms.

'Experimentally' I entered 'chkdsk' as the search term, and was

which volume".
Afaic, I do think Microsoft could have been a bit less opaque in it's
#315265, but think my experience illustrates the value of what others
here have said about poking around in the e-search environement with
it's many itty-bitty details, details, details.
