Jackie,

I don't remember if you have already tried to contact HP Tech Support. I'm
guessing that the printer is no longer under warranty?

Calling Tech Support may be the last thing to try.before getting a new
printer. Sorry nothing has helped so far.

My husband cleaned out some gunky ink and two small pieces of paper in the
carriage area.
However, trying the method again did not work. It does turn off now, but
that is the only gain we have made. Still gives the same error number.
