My husband cleaned out some gunky ink and two small pieces of paper in the carriage area.
However, trying the method again did not work. It does turn off now, but that is the only gain we have made. Still gives the same error number.

So now that you can get it turned off, try the steps I suggested before
again and see if that doesn't make any difference now.

Ellen, I found it does shut down when turned off. That is new.
