Whoopy yesss i tryed what Ardell suggested and it worked hitting F8 get into safe mode then sign on as admin - huge hugs and thanks yess - pc only as 40 gigs; 1 gig ram and its 1.8 mhz but nice to have up and running . . .

There are other boot disk that will let you change the Windoze password. I wouldn't pay for anything because there might be a lot of scams under these keywords.
