[Simply Computers] Monitor with Glossy Screen

 

I'm ready to buy a new Desktop PC. Maybe a year ago, I saw plenty of PC's with glossy monitors. Last few days, I don't see them in stores. My read is people complain about the glare. I understand this.

In my case I do image editing in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. If you control the lighting, the glare is not a problem. I work in a semi-darkened room. The images pop much more on a glossy screen. It's like the difference between a glossy print and a matte print. Are the glossy monitors still available in ordinary retail outlets like Sams Club, Costco etc.?

You have any ideas/tips on this issue?
