Firewall?
It sounds like you downloaded the free trial of the paid version of the Internet Suite.
You don't need all that.
go to www.download.com and search for AVG
there are at least three versions. make sure you download the FREE one, but don't install it yet.
Next, uninstall your AVG Iternet Security Suite (and reboot if necessary)
Then install the AVG free version.
You have XP, which has Windows Firewall, but it only protects you from things coming in.
If you want a better firewall, try the one from Comodo, which is also free at download.com
