[Simply Computers] Re: Dell support issue,

 

No need to panic (type in capital letters)

It's probably just some automatic Dell thing that got installed on your computer. Possibly something you clicked on last time you did use Dell suppport.

Open the Command Prompt window (probably in your START, Programs, Accessories), and type:

msconfig

Then click OK (or press Enter)

In the Startup tab of msconfig, look for any line that references anything Dell and un-check that line (unless it's something that you're sure you want to keep running).

Close the window. The changes will take effect the next time you boot or reboot.

If you change your mind, you can always go back and re-check the line.
