[Simply Computers] Re: error messagr

 

Hi

Your computer should not be trying to load a DLL from the temp directory.

It sounds like something did not install right.

I don't see anything on Google for vstu:1.dll, are you sure you typed that correctly?

Do you get the error everytime you boot up? or only certain times?

The way we used to troubleshoot things like this in Win98 was to open a command prompt windows and type:

msconfig

and click OK.

Look under the Startup tab and you'll see a bunch of lines with checkmarks at the beginning.

Uncheck everything and then reboot. see if you still get the error.

If not, then one of the items that was checked is the problem.

Re-check about half of them and reboot. If you get the error, then one of the items that you re-checked is the problem.
