Re: [Simply Computers] Send to

Robert,

Go to your search box.
Type shell:sendto
Press Enter. This will bring up your SendTo folder.
Open My Documents.
Arrange the two windows side by side.
Locate the ebooks folder in My Documents that you want to send stuff to.
Press and hold the Alt key.
While holding the Alt key, click and drag the ebooks folder in My Documents across to the SendTo folder.
You now have a shortcut for the ebooks folder in the SendTo folder.
Now if you right click a file, you will see Send to ebooks.

But if you go to Start/search and type "shell:sendto" --without the quotes--like the directions say to, then press Enter, you will see the contents of your "send to" context menu. Right click on any empty spot in that window and choose "new>shortcut", and the "create shortcut" Window opens. At least it does for me with Vista. That is what they meant by the "create shortcut wizard.". From there you just browse to what ever you want to put on your "Send to" menu. A folder or whatever you want.
