[Simply Computers] AppleSyncNotifier.exe failure

 

I have started to get this message when I boot an XP that has iTunes
installed.

I have to click on a square to get the machine to complete the boot.

Google is undecided. Some say it is a virus and some say that Apple puts
the thing on your computer even if you don't have any apple hardware.

Somebody else must have run into this situation. Any ideas are appreciated.
