[Simply Computers] Re: Missing operating system

 

On first glance, it would appear that the hard drive has died.

When the computer first boots up, you'll get the MSI logo screen, and a message to press a certain key to enter Setup.

Press that key, and when the Setup screens open, look to see if there is a hard drive listed. If so, you may be able to save it.

If not, you may need to purchase a new one.

ps .. please tell us what steps you took when you "tried to reformat"
