Well, there are 3 different downloads available. The first one I tried
is the Installer, setup.exe file. Interestingly enough, Avira jumped up
during the download and objected to one of the files. I assume this is
not a true threat, so I turned Avira off temporarily to complete the
download. And I also downloaded the portable version, which is larger
and didn't cause any warnings. may give this a try on one of the units
I am working on now.
I have used Dougknox's fixes on one and it seems to have repaired them
all. I just downloaded and ran all of them. I also have his batch
file, but for some reason those repairs didn't stick during the
following reboot. I am still not sure what is going on there.
