i am already member of ACM.org, and i am able to download course content in office PC which contains windows XP. and i can use it offline, but i cannot download the course content in my own PC, i have already mentioned the specification,
the error message exactly says: ("Failed to load control 'Http Transfer' from Http Transfer.ocx. Your version of Http Transfer.ocx may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application.").
my windows and browser is up to date, i used Mozilla firefox as well as Google Chrom latest versions. but i did not get appropriate result.
My friend is having Win 7 Premium edition,. and that is working.
please help me in this regard.

However, I have looked over the ACM.org website, and it seems that one needs to subscribe to it in order to do what you're trying to do.
As I am not ready to subscribe, at the present, you may wish to direct your question to the Tech Support people at ACM.org.
I'm sure they are better prepared to help you than us non-members.
