I have worked on a HP mini motherboard.....it isn't something I want to do again.....I had to replace the power momentary slide switch installed on the motherboard. It is very easy to lift a pad when de-soldering components from the board. The pads are tiny. I lost a pad and only by luck figured out to install a jumper to solve the problem.

If I was asked to work on one again......I would say "replace the motherboard...it can't be fixed"
