[Simply Computers] connect to internet

 

I have an HP desktop system and it was damaged software wise from multiple virus'. I ran the built-in restore function and it did indeed get all back in shape. I was able to log into the internet and cruise around.

I then created two user accounts, and herein lies the issue. The internet connection stopped. Double clicking onthe Internet Explorer icon yeilds a shortcut placed on the desktop and nothing else.

going directly to the iexplorer.exe command also does not do anything.

Any clue here?
